The Details & Getting Ready at The Hyatt in Huntington Beach, California

The morning at The Hyatt in Huntington Beach was full of those little in-between moments that I love most. The groom adjusting his bow tie in the mirror. The bride laughing with her girls in matching satin pajamas. The way her dress from The White Flower sparkled even on the hanger. These aren’t just pretty details, they’re part of the story. The anticipation, the nerves, the joy before everything really begins.

After getting ready, they met for their first look in the courtyard surrounded by palm trees and sunlight. It was simple and real. Just them taking it all in together after exchanging private vows on the beach earlier that morning. From there we rolled right into portraits with the wedding party and just the two of them. The bridesmaids wore soft blue gowns, the groomsmen kept it classic in black tuxes, and everything felt effortless! I love when portraits aren’t overly posed but still feel timeless and true to the couple. That’s exactly what this part of the day was all about.

The ceremony at Meadowlark Golf Club was held on the Green. This space is surrounded by water, trees, and that soft California light that makes everything feel extra romantic! A floral arch by Breyo Blossoms and florals by RMC Florals and Events became the backdrop for Kyle and Grace’s vows. It was lush, full, and completely stunning against the open golf course.

Even though they shared a first look earlier in the day, you could still see the emotion in Kyle’s face the moment Grace came down the aisle with her dad. And in true golf course fashion, she made her entrance by golf cart, which honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. Their ceremony was romantic, heartfelt, and full of those little glances and reactions that make a wedding ceremony feel so memorable. It’s easy to see why Meadowlark Golf Club is one of the most loved Huntington Beach wedding venues.

For their sweetheart table, Grace repurposed the floral arch from their ceremony, creating a gorgeous backdrop that felt both intentional and stunning. Guests enjoyed dinner, drinks, and dancing. Every detail, from the personalized touches on the tables to the fun dance floor, came together seamlessly. It was a night filled with celebration, love, and so many memories for The Gillespies’ at Meadowlark Golf Club!
