Cinematic engagement photos are about more than posing. They’re about telling a story in a way that feels authentic and timeless. For Moises and Yadira, Monteleone Meadows in Murrieta, California was the perfect place to bring that vision to life. The lake and swans echoed the inspiration that first drew them in, while the venue gave us space to capture both their elegant, dreamy side and their Spanish western style. As a cinematic wedding photographer, my goal was to create images that move like a film—emotional, intentional, and uniquely theirs.

We began the session at the pond at Monteleone Meadows, where swans moved across the water and the light poured through the trees. It was the kind of setting that felt instantly dreamy. We’re talking serious love story vibes here—think The Notebook. It was perfect for capturing the elegant, romantic energy Moises and Yadira envisioned.
Monteleone Meadows is a private estate tucked into French Valley, just outside Temecula Valley Wine Country. With ten acres of gardens, winding paths, a pond with a waterfall, and the most peaceful open spaces, it’s the kind of venue that feels like it was made for love stories. Their first look was soft and classic, with a white dress and neutral tones that paired beautifully with the water and greenery.

For their second look, Moises and Yadira embraced their Spanish western style. Yadira’s lace dress and boots paired beautifully with Moises’ button-down and cowboy hat. They created a look that was both timeless and true to them.
Around the fountain, the light streamed through the trees and brought their photos to life. Playful spins, kisses tucked behind Moises’ hat, and their bold yet romantic style gave the gallery a cinematic feel.
As the sun lowered, we moved into the wide open grassy fields of Monteleone Meadows. The space gave them the freedom to run, laugh, and let loose, which brought out some of the most genuine, candid moments of the day.
Their energy was effortless—hair flying, boots moving through the grass, and sunlight catching just right. It’s these in-between moments that remind me why I love being a cinematic wedding photographer: every detail and every glance can feel like a scene from a film, personal and unforgettable.

When people hear cinematic engagement photos, they sometimes think it only means moody or dramatic editing. But cinematic photography is about more than that. Cinematic photography is storytelling—images that look and feel like stills from a film, where every frame carries emotion, movement, and intention. It’s not just about how you looked in a moment, but how that moment truly felt.
As a cinematic wedding photographer, my goal is to give couples photos that play back like a memory you can step into. Sessions like this one at Monteleone Meadows in Murrieta show why that matters. The private estate, with its pond, gardens, and open spaces, gave Moises and Yadira the perfect backdrop. Their vision unfolded in a way that felt timeless and personal. For couples drawn to film-inspired, storytelling photography, whether for engagements or weddings, this style brings your love story to life with depth and intention.

Monteleone Meadows is one of those rare venues that feels like it was designed for cinematic engagement photos. From the tree-lined paths to the sparkling pond, Monteleone Meadows offers endless beauty. Every corner gives space for movement, laughter, and those in-between moments that make photos feel alive. It is also a stunning choice for cinematic wedding photography. The gardens, gazebo, and wide open lawns transform beautifully from golden hour into night. Couples love it because it feels private and peaceful, yet full of character—an estate that’s perfect for authentic storytelling.
That’s exactly what I aim for in every session. My approach to cinematic photography is about more than documenting the day. It’s about creating images that feel like stills from your own personal film. If you’re looking for a cinematic engagement or wedding photographer, my goal is to give you photos filled with depth, emotion, and intention, while still letting you be fully present in the moment.
